JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR

A HAOS Productions Musical
An album that inspired a revolution. A revelation that changed the world
What’s the buzz? Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's ground-breaking rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, has captivated audiences with its epic story and electrifying music for over 50 years.
Set against the backdrop of ancient Judea, the musical chronicles the final days of Jesus of Nazareth as seen through the eyes of his disciple, Judas Iscariot.
With its explosive blend of rock, gospel, and classical music, Jesus Christ Superstar has become a cultural phenomenon since its debut in 1970.
The musical follows Jesus and his followers as they arrive in Jerusalem, and the conflict that arises between them and the Roman authorities.
Judas, torn between his loyalty to Jesus and his fears about the consequences of his actions, ultimately betrays his friend and sets in motion the events that will lead to the crucifixion.
Filled with iconic songs such as ‘I Don't Know How to Love Him', ‘Superstar', and ‘Gethsemane', Jesus Christ Superstar is a tour de force of musical storytelling, bringing to life the passion, pain, and sacrifice of one of history's most revered figures.
Don't miss your chance to experience the magic of Jesus Christ Superstar. Whether you're a diehard fan or a newcomer to the show, this production promises to be a musical event like no other… prepare to be transported to a world of drama, love, and redemption.

As an extra special treat for Easter 2025 HAOS will be resurrecting one of its most loved previous shows. Unfortunately the show is still touring the UK professionally so we can't share the title, but hopefully you will find out by word of mouth. We are now seeking out a creative production team who can re-vision this divine musical, bringing alive the passion, drama and provocation over the Easter weekend of 2025.
We have a very open mind about what this production might look like and are excited to hear your ideas of how this might be staged. As always, inclusion is at the heart of our society and we would welcome visions which incorporate the range of our members in the cast.
A detailed document is available from our Production Secretary at production.secretary@haosproductions.com that has more information about expectations and any fixed requirements, including some information about dates/availability (oh, and the title!)
Details of how to secure your application will be given upon request of this document (Deadline 7th July)
Good luck everyone
