Everybody's Talking About Jamie was first produced by Sheffield Theatres at the Crucible Theatre on 9th Frebruary 2017 and was inspired
by the BBC 3 documentary Jamie: Drag Queen At 16 produced by Firecracker Films and directed by Jenny Popplewell. The show
transferred to the Apollo Theatre in London's West End, produced by Nica Burns and co-producers Ian Osborne, Paula Marie Black,
Teresa and Craig Beech, on 6th November 2017.

We are still looking for people to support with publicity, scenic work, props, backstage, front of house, lighting and other event support.

Casting Process Open!
HATY are now accepting expressions of interest from anyone who is wanting to audition to be in the cast of Everybody's Talking About Jamie: Teen Edition at the Halifax Playhouse in October 2024.
Anyone aged between 11 and 18 can audition to be part of the show. You don’t need to have had any previous experience or training; we are looking for young people who are committed, enthusiastic and willing.
Unfortunately we are only able to have a limited cast as part of the show due to backstage requirements of the theatre. This means that anyone wanting to be in the show will be required to audition/workshop.
All expressions of interest need to be submitted by 6pm on Sunday 12th May in order to have the opportunity to audition. The form will close at this time so no late submissions will be able to be made.
Auditions will take place on Sunday 19th May.

We have just announced our fab production team, they are now slaving away preparing audition material, and working out all the ways you can be involved with this absolute pleasure of a classsic!
