Overview of Role/Notes

Team of high energy students bringing individuality to each role that is rough and raucous. There are a number of characters to cast: Dean Paxton, Becca, Vicki, Cy, Bex, Sayid, Fatimah, Levi, Mickey - All with some individual spoken and/or solo and small group singing. Involved in multiple musical numbers and dialogue scenes.

The named students are mixed ethnicity providing a true representation of a northern school, appropriate casting will be prioritised in line with the intentions of the writer, with characters identified as Black, Asian and Muslim as referenced in the script.

Must attend morning workshop and an individual audition.
Workshop: Sing and dance to AND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW IT (b.102 - b.109) in groups

Act 1 scene 3 (pg 26) from Dean: "Alright Jamie." to Dean: "Get Stuffed Jamie New." (reading DEAN)

Act 1 scene 7 (pg54) from Fatimah: "Pritti - you got your ticket to prom yet?" to Becca: "It were that sex education class with Mr Jennings. I kept correcting him." (reading Fatimah.)
